"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." -
Picasso

Our strengths are artist monographs, 20th-century exhibition catalogues, American art, prints and drawings, photography, classical archaeology, equestrian sporting art, and books about books and the book arts. Our shop colleague H.L. Mendelsohn specializes in architecture, decorative arts, urbanism, and landscape history, with an emphasis on European books of the 19th and 20th centuries.

We have many books that aren't online, so please contact us if you don't find what you're looking for here. Or, when you're in the Boston area, come browse in our shop near Harvard Square. For 25 years art historians, collectors, architects, artists, students, and art lovers of all kinds have enjoyed our wide selection of reasonably priced books.

We can appraise your books for insurance, estate, or donation purposes. If you have books to sell or trade, we'd love to hear about them.

We occasionally exhibit at book fairs such as the Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair, The Letterpress Guild of New England's printing fair, and The Ephemera Society of America's conference. Check News & Shows for details.
