Available Catalogues

Like her husband, Robert, who assembled one of the finest private collections of 16th- and 17th-century English literature, Deirdre H. Pirie (1937-2016) was a book collector extraordinaire. Her extensive library reflected her many interests — gardening, cooking, Western Americana, photography, and of course driving. She actively sought out antiquarian books from many sources in the United States, Britain, and Europe, and she kept up with the latest publications. We are pleased to offer these books, catalogues, periodicals, and prints from her collection. Many are quite uncommon. Special thanks to Deirdre’s daughter Sophie and others for their advice and assistance.

This catalogue is available only electronically, due to the very high cost of printing it.
