Angell's speech is an edition of the address he read at the annual meeting of the American Social-Science Association, 1874. Besides financial statements, membership lists, and the like, the annual reports include how some animal cruelty cases were handled (two persons were fined for worrying a cat to death, etc.), inspection of cattle being shipped by sea, etc. Sold as a group.
