Saratoga Springs, NY: American Dressage Institute, 1972. First edition. Soft cover. p, many photos. Laid in: June 1972 Dressage Letters (1 page). Good (handling wear, mailing address). Item #30236
A wonderful and scarce artifact from the early days of serious dressage in America, fostered almost single-handedly by the ADI during its several years of existence. Reports on ADI's 400th-anniversary gift to the Spanish Riding School, the 1972 summer seminar, the 1972 US Olympic dressage team (with small filmstrips of John Winnett, Edith Master, and Lois Stephens). Many familiar names here. The USDF eventually took over the ADI's role. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
