Promotional booklet issued with compliments of H.J. Justin & Sons, "makers of Justin's celebrated cowboy boots." According to the foreword, the firm (founded in 1879), had been around for about 50 years, which gives the approximate publication date. Four short cowboy action tales that focus on the virtues of Justin's boots--"The Heel and Why It's There," "Crooked Horn," "A Mixed Mount," and "Brothers in Boots." A fairy early work by Shope, who became a well-known cowboy artist. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate. Scarce (4 copies in WorldCat).
