The first year of this monthly journal devoted to the jewlery trade, awash in Art Nouveau. Treats chiefly gold and silver jewelry and ornaments but also some lace, book bindings, enamels, vases, combs, thimbles, silverware, wood sculpture, etc. With many long articles on the French and foreign exhibits at the 1900 Exposition Universelle; also articles and notices on fraternal gatherings, tariffs, design competitions, new designs, trade news, etc. At least one piece on lead poisoning. Many ads for manufacturers and retail shops. WorldCat cites 5 locations, all in France. Their actual holdings are ambiguous except for the BN, which holds a complete run (the journal's last issue was December 1904), This is a very rare and important document of fin-de-siecle design.
