It was full of articles on many subjects by Littauer (including parts of his "Do Collected Gaits Have Place in Schooling Hunters and Jumpers?"), Steinkraus, Ryall (racing columnist "Audax Minor" of The New Yorker), Estes, Stecken, Benoist-Gironiere, Wrangel, Childs, Treviranus, John Richard Young, Willard H. Porter, and many more. Articles on riding and schooling, the horse in art and history, racing, various breeds, short stories, some show and racing news, and more There was nothing quite like it at the time.
