Mohr's account of overseeing the publicity and fundraising for the creation and installation of the giant bronze Leonardo da Vinci horse in Milan. The book describes these complicated negotiations more than the statue itself. Mohr took over after the death of Charles Dent, who first had the idea of creating the monumental freestanding horse (the original wax model was destroyed in 1499 before it was actually cast). Mohr, who died in 2021, also wrote The Lady Blows a Horn, the life of MFH Nancy Penn Smith Hannum. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
