Very good hardcover (no jacket). ** Monograph on the sculptors James Earle Fraser and his wife Laura Gardin Fraser, focusing on "The End of the Trail," which depicts a slumped Native American on his weary horse. Fraser also designed the Indian-head nickel, many medals, and many portraits (Lincoln, Patton, Theodore Roosevelt, etc.). His wife sculpted Fair Play and other horses and subjects. (Item ID: 10467)
