Hoping to improve Thoroughbred breeding in France, and inspired by Joseph Osborne's Horse-Breeder's Handbook, the author created a similar reference to 90 Thoroughbred stallions standing in France. Each 2-page entry gives a full account of the horse's racing and/or stud career, and a 5-generation pedigree. An additional 16 foundation sires plus various lists and indexes are also included.
