Covers rather stained; some pages stained but overall internally good and clean. Further condition details on request. In Italian. ** An enormous and sumptuous production, printed by letterpress (partly in red). The first part surveys many foundation sires and their lines. The second part contains detailed 5-generation pedigrees, chiefly of mid-20th-century stallions. These tables are dated 1948 and 1951. The plates are by George Ford Morris (Mambrino King), Robert Dickey (Hambletonian 10), and others. Very scarce; we have found only 3 copies, all in Italy. Very large; shipping/handling will be extra.
