Fair paperbound (front cover detached). ** Catalogue of 40 Standardbred horses, chiefly young fillies and mares. Laid in: clipping with prices and buyers of the horses. It notes that although there was often "next to nothing in the pedigrees of the dams to attract breeders," "high prices [were] realized" for these California-bred trotting horses.
