We're delighted to announce that we'll be taking part in the Attingham Trust Study Programme, "The Horse and the Country House," in England in September. We have in stock some of the books on the program's suggested reading list. A selection of them, plus others that may be of interest, are included in "Featured Books" at the bottom of this page. Quantities are very limited. For other titles related to the program's theme, search by the keyword Attingham, or go to "Browse Horses" and then look through the topics Art, Driving (especially other World on Wheels volumes), Farming, Horses in Society & History, and Hunting. We're happy to ship postpaid to Attingham participants within the United States.

Jumping Programme: Dublin Horse Show 1930

Dublin Horse Show. Jumping Programme: Dublin Horse Show 1930. One sheet of card stock, folded twice to make three panels. A few results inked in; one crease torn ca. 2 inches. Apparently removed from a scrapbook, affecting but not really obscuring the content in three small places. ** Lists the entries for four jumping competitions on August 7, 1930. For three of them the horse and owner are given; for the international military jumping competition the horse, country, and rider are given. Also includes the music program. "Details and further Show information will be frequently announced in the Jumping Enclosure by the 'Marconiphone Public Address System.'" A scarce survival. (Item ID: 15391)
