Good paperbound (spine chipped). Many pencil numbers on several margins, front endpaper, and inside back cover. Bookseller's small embossed stamp on back cover. ** Describes well over a hundred Percheron stallions and mares, also many French Coach horses. The head sire was Brilliant 1271. Texts by Dunham; several pages of testimonials at the end, printed on pink paper. With lists of horses imported, bred, or owned by Dunham at his Wayne, Illinois, farm since 1872.
