One of 600 copies. ** "Being a descriptive list of the most important books on sport." Lists many hundred titles on hunting, racing and steeplechasing, horse breeding and stud books, horsemanship, polo, big game, dogs and shooting, angling, yachting, coaching, sporting poetry and fiction, and miscellaneous. This copy belonged to longtime sporting bookseller Sidney R. Smith, with his large bookplate and with many penciled checkmarks throughout (presumably books he had handled).
