Auction catalogue, October 17, 1877. Lists many shorthorn cows and bulls for sale, each with a several-generation line pedigree. No horses are listed, and the sheep are not identified separately. The farms were owned by William Miller, Jr., and John Miller, from Scotland. The Millers were prominent livestock breeders in Canada, and today Thistle Ha' is a national historic farm, still owned and operated by the Miller family. Scarce; no copies in WorldCat.
