Reports on undergraduate and graduate study, enriching the curriculum, recommendation for a department of design, the Harvard Theatre, the teaching collections and their uses, physical facilities (new construction, improvements to the Fogg Museum), statistical summary of the teaching of art of American colleges and universities. With appendixes of persons and institutions consulted, the "Wellesley system" of requiring art history students to practice art techniques, programs at other schools, etc. The committee members were Brown (chairman), Francis Keppel, Wolfgang Stechow, Donald Oenslager, George Wald, Charles Sawyer, John Walker, and S.
