Mrs. Curtis was the presumably well-to-do wife of the Superintendent of the Wright Co. Shoe Factory in Rockland, Mass.  Between 1920 and 1928 she made several New England automobile trips with family and friends in her Studebaker, a photo of which opens her journal.  Her long, legible, and detailed entries are filled with information about her traveling companions, the roads, sights, hotels, restaurants, meals, etc.  At least one long entry is in the hand of one of her companions.  The pages contain photos, postcards, clippings, brochures, ticket stubs, timetables, business cards, a Memorial Day poppy, trip itineraries, at least one menu, etc. (Much of our description is taken from the original seller's write-up.) Large and heavy; shipping/handling will be extra. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

Price: $300.00
