Foreword by Owen Wister in a printed facsimile of his handwriting: "This is the best Western story about a horse that I have ever read. . . . There is nothing made up. . . . The horse remains a horse, never becomes half-human with thoughts and emotions no horse could have." A very nice copy of a book that usually hasn't held up well. (Adams, Rampaging Herd 1789).

Price: $75.00
