The books cover Disposition and Subjection, Kicking and Balking, Shying and Running Away, Bad to Shoe and Halter Pulling, Overcoming Special Fears, and Teaching Tricks. Beery ran Anerica's most successful and longest-lasting mail-order course in horse handling. Eventually the lesson books dropped the subject of driving, but in the 1940s they were still full of driving advice. Sold as a group.
