Annual for the 1919 show season. "Containing complete summaries of all recognized horse shows held in the United States; official awards in all classes; table of champions and reserve to champions; horse show exhibitors [etc.] The recognized authority on correct appointments in equipage." Covers chiefly Saddlebred and Hackney showing under saddle and in harness, also hunter-jumper classes and some polo. The texts include a history of the Rochester Horse Show by A.H. Godfrey; "Breeding Sensational Hackney Ponies at Cassilis Farm, New Marlboro, Mass."; and Great Island Farm in Noroton, CT by A.H.Godfrey. (Great Island Farm later became the property of Bill Steinkraus.) The cover shows a Haas photo of Mogul, winner of the gig class at Rochester in 1919, owned by A.W. Atkinson.
