Des Moines: Shrine Auditorium, 1935-1941. First edition. Stapled soft cover. Mostly 8p each, some photos, many local ads. A few pencil or ink notes, occasional reviews laid in. Bottom corners of "Pygmalion" dogeared and torn; else overall in nice clean condition. Good. Item #31466

Ethel Waters in "As Thousands Cheer," Leslie Howard in "Hamlet," Gladys Clark in "The Great Waltz," Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in "Idiot's Delight," Ethel Wilson in "You Can't Take It with You," Maurice Evans in "King Richard III," Helen Hayes in "Victoria Regina," Alexandra Danilova and Alicia Markova with The Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Nelson Eddy, Lunt and Fontanne in "The Taming of the Shrew," Katharine Cornell in "No Time for Comedy," Tallulah Bankhead in "The Little Foxes," Ruth Chatterton in "Pygmalion."  Also lists the full casts, crews, and credits (jewlery, furs, etc.). The theater was managed by Mrs. George F. Clark. Sold as a group. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
