Collection of poems and extracts about the horse, with notes on the authors. Chiefly French, but they range from Victor Hugo to Groucho Marx, Aristotle to Bartabas, Joseph Brodsky to Moliere. The editor, long involved with promoting the barb and Akhal-Teke horses, once rode from Paris to Moscow in 75 days. Uncommon in the US. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
