A cute cautionary tale for beginning readers. At the reins of his pony cart Paul carelessly drives Shaggy Pony into exhaustion. Luckily he comes up with a brilliant idea to warm the chilled pony, and from then on he "never drives Shaggy Pony too fast or too far." Internally, most of the black fuzz remains on the pony.
