A handsome and meticulous descriptive bibliography of one of the great private sporting libraries (now at Yale). The collations are especially useful for early books and plate books. Emphasizes, but is not limited to, the Thoroughbred and its uses. Paul Mellon was quite involved with its production, including the choice of illustrations. Heavy; shipping/handling will be extra.
