The articles include part 2 of a partly romanticized "History of the Hals," "Tennessee Jerseys," "Do Farmers Think?," "Modern Cotton Culture," "Phosphates of Tennessee," various inspirational stories and poems (some in now-offensive dialect), and other pieces by Moore and others. Moore wrote several regional novels that glorifed the Old South, including the trotting novel Gift of the Grass: Being the Autobiography of a Famous Racing Horse. The magazine was published under this title through 1906, then as Taylor-Trotwood Magazine into 1910. Sold as is. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
