The 784 lots here include a wide variety of subjects--cockfighting, gardening, naval science and navigation, prophecies, horsemanship, tobacco, magic and witchcraft, rules of conduct, government, arithmetic, astronomy, medicine and surgery, etc., chiefly of the 16th-17th centuries.
