Here & Now; An Exhibition of Thirteen Artists [annotated] + symposium transcription laid in
St. Louis: Washington University Gallery of Art, 1969. First edition. Soft cover. [18]p, many ills. "The first exhibition sponsored by Steinberg Art Gallery Associates (SAGA)." Ex-museum-lib. (bookplate and ink stamp). Good (text block has separated from covers, vellum endpapers are foxed). Item #32598
This exhibition brought together for the first time many up and coming young artists, mostly in their 20s: Peter Alexander, Dan Christensen, Robert Graham, Jack Krueger, David Lee, Bruce Nauman, William Pettet, Robert Ryman, Fred Sandback, Alan Sarat, Richard Serra, Keith Sonnier, and Richard Tuttle. Heavily annotated in ink, perhaps by Robert Pincus-Witten, whose ownership stamp is present and who participated in the accompanying symposium. A transcription of the symposium is laid in. The 6 panelists were Buck, David Antin, Ivan Karp, Klaus Kertess (substituting for the absent Richard Bellamy), Mary King, and Pincus-Witten. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate.
Price: $100.00
