Retail catalogue from the firm boasting "the largest stock of saddlery and harness in the world," founded in 1851 and lasting into the 1970s. Tack, stable fittings, veterinary supplies, etc., of all kinds. Approximately dated from the photos in the National Motor Horsebox Co. ad. With reference to the rising cost of raw materials, making prices subject to change. In the printed catalogue a child's saddle sold for 4 pounds; in the later pricelist it was 21 pounds. Adult saddles went up from several pounds to many guineas. Very scarce. WorldCat locates some 1911 catalogues, but this one seems to be unrecorded.
