The first two volumes of The Jockey Club's monumental history of American Thoroughbred racing--the personalities, horses, farms, tracks, races, organizations, etc.--which is still unsurpassed. Amazingly, this luxurious set was published during paper rationing in World War II, when many publishers were forced to use thin "wartime" paper. Very large and heavy; shipping/handling will be extra. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Sold as a set. Cannot be sent outside the US.
