This little pamphlet promotes raising mules as a money-making venture, especially with "the Panama Canal work coming on....The Panama Canal will require 25,000 mules and it will take at least fifteen years to complete it." The main reason for the pamphlet is to advertise the services of the Spanish jack Black Jerry for the 1907 season. With a poem on his virtures, printed in red and black.
