A very comprehensive and heavily illustrated survey of theater and concert hall design from antiquity into the 1950s, worldwide.   A great reference!  Despite the external dampstaining, the interior is mostly clean and free of any odor. The binding is very sturdy, which is unusual for this Hoepli series (Esempi de Architettura di Tutto il Mondo).   Heavy; shipping/handling will be extra.  Please keep this in mind when ordering.  Photos are too dark. The photo shows the Funkhaus in Cologne (radio broadcasting studios).
