New York: No stated publisher, October 16, 1978. First edition. Unbound folded newsprint sheets. 24p total, many photos. Very good (age browned but neatly folded as issued; apparently rarely if ever opened). Small snags to lower outer corners of section A, as shown in the second photo. Item #33231
During the 1978 New York newspaper strike, Christopher Cerf, Tony Hendra, and others created this parody issue, offering "All the News Not Fit to Print." Many writers contributed under various transparent pseudonyms such as R.W. Papple Jr., Murray Class, and Chris Lehmann-Hoot. Wiki has a detailed entry on its history and content. Here are all three sections: the main news section, "The Having Section," and "Sprots Monday." Sections B and C promise articles that don't actually appear, such as Nancy Regan's (sic) book on facial carpentry. Shipping/handling will be extra; please keep this in mind when ordering.
